Our toddler room provides all the things children need to prepare them for the move to pre-school whilst still being small enough not to over whelm them. Children are provided with messy, creative opportunities, role play and dressing up, construction resources and activities to promote language development and independence.

The space is flexible to allow areas to be changed in order to meet the needs of the toddlers. The main focus in this room is supporting children in their independence, asking for help and selecting their own resources is encouraged. We start to introduce small group time activities in this room getting children for the more advanced group times that we have in Pre-school.

The children are still very young in this room so there is still plenty of time for cuddles and a cosy sleep area can be created for any children still needing a nap.
